Amouliani (4,5 km2) is the only inhabited island of Halkidiki, Greece. Yanis's tavern is maybe the best place to eat on the island. At Yanis's the food is great, service is Okay, prices are low, and it is located on the beach. There is a fantastic view from the terrace. We could see mount Athos which is is home to 20 Eastern Orthodox monasteries. We watched the spectacular rising of the full moon behind the Holy Mountain, but unfortunately I had only my wide angle lenses with me, so it didn't make such a great image.
